What a recurring visit covers
This is the standing checklist. It does not change from visit to visit, and it does not shrink because we are running late — if something cannot be done on a given day, you hear about it rather than discovering it.

What is not in a recurring visit
Saying this plainly up front prevents the most common disappointment in this trade. None of the following is in the standing price. Most can be added to a visit if you ask for it, and a few are simply other trades.
- Inside the oven and refrigerator. Add-on, or included in a deep clean.
- Interior cabinet and drawer cleaning. Deep clean and move-out scope.
- Exterior windows, and anything needing a ladder at height. A different trade. We will tell you that instead of doing it badly.
- Carpet extraction and upholstery cleaning. Vacuuming is included; hot-water extraction is a specialist machine and a specialist job.
- Mold remediation, hoarding cleanup, biohazard, or pest work. Licensed specialties. We refer rather than attempt.
- Moving heavy furniture. We move what can be moved safely by one person and vacuum around the rest.
How the price is set
A flat per-visit price, quoted before the first visit and not adjusted on the day. The inputs are the number of bathrooms first, then bedrooms, then the condition the home is in right now, then the details that genuinely add time — stairs, pets, a large amount of glass, hard-water buildup that has been building for years.
Square footage is a poor predictor on its own, which is why almost nobody who quotes by square foot alone gets it right. A 1,400-square-foot house with three bathrooms and two dogs is a longer visit than a 2,200-square- foot house with one and a half bathrooms and no pets. We ask about the things that actually drive the number.
Changing frequency does not trigger a re-quote. Move from biweekly to weekly for the summer and back again and the per-visit price stays where it was.

Weekly, biweekly, or monthly — how do I choose?
Count the people and the bathrooms before you count the square feet. Two adults with no pets are usually comfortable monthly. Add a child, a shedding dog, or a third person sharing the same two bathrooms and biweekly becomes the honest answer. Weekly suits full houses, homes with indoor pets, and anyone who would rather never think about it. If you are between two options, start with the more frequent one for a month — stepping down is easy, and catching up from behind is not.
Will it be the same people every time?
That is what we schedule for, because a team that already knows your house is faster and misses less. It is not something anyone can promise absolutely — people take vacation and get sick — so what we commit to instead is that whoever comes works from the same written checklist and the same notes about your home.
Why is the first visit priced differently?
Because it usually is different. A house coming off six months without a cleaning needs catch-up work — grout, baseboards, appliance exteriors, built-up soap film — that a maintenance visit does not repeat. Pricing the first visit at the recurring rate would mean either rushing it or absorbing hours nobody agreed to. We quote both numbers up front so there is no surprise.
Can I skip a visit or pause the schedule?
Yes. Travel, a remodel, a month where money is tight — tell us and we move or pause it. The only thing worth knowing is that a long gap changes what the next visit involves, so if you skip several in a row we may flag that it needs deep-clean time to get back to baseline.
Do you use my products if I ask?
Happily. Fragrance-free lines, a pH-neutral cleaner for stone, a specific product for a sealed floor, your own vacuum for a particular rug — leave them out with a note and we will use them. If you have a surface you do not want touched at all, tell us and we will leave it alone rather than guess.
Is this the same as a maid service?
Same thing, different word. People search for maid service, house cleaning, and housekeeping interchangeably. What we run is a scheduled residential cleaning service with a fixed checklist and a flat per-visit price — no live-in staff, no personal-assistant duties, no laundry service unless it is agreed as an add-on.

Cleaning quotes go wrong when they are guessed from a square-footage number. What actually drives the time is the bathroom count, how the home is used, and the condition it is in right now — so those are the things we ask about.
- Send the basics. City, bedrooms, full and half bathrooms, and whether you want recurring, a one-time deep clean, or a move-out.
- We come back with a flat per-visit price. Not an hourly rate that moves, and not a range that resolves itself on the day.
- Pick a day and a cadence. Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or one time only. Change or pause it later without a penalty.
First visits often take longer than the ones that follow — a home coming off a long gap needs catch-up work before a routine rhythm makes sense. If that is your situation we will say so in the quote rather than discovering it in your driveway.
